ENGLISH FOR PILOTS AND ATCs

Service Description

This Course has been designed for people just starting out on their careers. You may or may not know the different effects of an aileron and an elevator, but we will ensure that you know what these words mean in the English Language. The course is a balanced mix of General English Tuition and Aviation English. We ensure that you have sufficient aviation vocabulary to either follow a technical training course delivered in English, or you are able to communicate effectively in the aviation world using the English Language. This course is delivered using “one to one” online tuition in our Virtual Classroom and online exercises to practise and improve your grammar. Course Content: All content will be adapted according to individual requirements The Course has 5 modules, each focusing on different aeronautical aspects and teaching various parts of english grammar (see appendix for individual lesson details) - Module 1 Parts and Types of Aircraft and basic Aerodynamics - Module 2 On the ground – airfield layout, navigation aids, flight preparation - Module 3 Phases of Flight - Module 4 Weather - Module 5 Emergency Situations
